Hey guys fresh for spring summer 2013 we decided to get Ty and his friends into the shop and have an Extreme  Makeover- Mahers Outdoor edition

 here is a lovely picture i took from the other side of the street i took while the men are hard at work.

We also got the lads to put in a shark tank just in case a customer or two starts getting a bit mad.

So just in case you walk into the shop and wondering what is going on the ladies and kids are now down stairs and mens are all upstairs with the packs and footwear and usual stuff. It does look pretty oh so pretty.

It's here at last!!!

Yes, it's here - Sherpa has arrived! - No, not a Sherpa but the outdoor adventure clothing brand "Sherpa" - before i go on about how great the kit is, you should know that Sherpa are a very conscientious brand, giving a percentage of all profits to the Paldorje Education fund which offers college scholarships to Sherpa children to give their generation a bit of a head start. The products are, wherever possible, made in Nepal and where employees are treated fairly and paid a fair wage - when it is not possible to have the goods made in Nepal, they are made in a neighbouring country with the same standards of fairness all round. They back their goods up with a fantastic warranty too.

The kit is absolutely lovely - The quality of finish, the colours and the fit are all really nice indeed - Nothing fancy about the fabrics, just good, tried and tested stuff packaged in beautiful looking clothing. Much of it would look just as goods away from the hills as on them.

Cool new kids clothing.

Kids are cooler than adults - it's a fact of life that you just have to deal with it if you're old like me. So, because kids are cooler, they get cooler clothes - now our adult range is pretty damn lovely so you can bet that what you are about to see is sweeeeett -  and it is. If you don't agree, get to the back of the class.

First up are the Columbia "Da Chutes" for boys and "Powder Lite" for girls - These are lovely looking winter jackets which could just as easily be worn as a super fashionable winter jacket for around town as well as for winter activities.

 Next up are the "Brady" for boys and "Phoebe" for girls from Trespass - These are both ski jackets but as you can see, would also make great fashion jackets for winter.

We also have some lovely new fleeces and soft shells for those lucky enough to be too young to have to go to work yet - Unfortunately, they are so new that the companies that make them haven't even got the colour we have up on their web sites yet so i can't provide you with any pics as of yet.

New Berghaus - lovely, really lovely.

Long time no see and all that - Anyway, don't have much time as you guys keep coming in to ask me questions while i'm trying to get this done! - don't get me wrong, i love seeing you in the shop but just give me five minutes will ye!

So lets get down to business - new Berghaus stock in - insulated jackets, soft shells, fleeces and new waterproof jackets. pics and basic details below.

Here we have the mens "Ignite" hybrid hoody - pertex shell with primaloft one synthetic fill.

And here we have the mens "Ardennes" soft shell - looks real good as well as doing the job.

 We also have some lovely new mens fleeces and the new "Mera Peak" waterproof jacket - really nice new colours in both.

Next up is the womens "Ignite" hoody - As you can see, it's a lovely piece, fits beautifully and performs magnificently (i try out all our womens clothes so i should know, ok).

We also have new womens base layers in lovely new colours as well as a new spectrum micro fleece in a wicked new purple kind of colour - it's kind of like blueberry - but better if you get my drift.

Anyway i'm going to have to leave you there as more of you are looking for assistance and that's more important than me typing this.
