Petzl GriGri 2 RECALL

Morning Folks,
I have just received a letter from our suppliers of Petzl products.
They have issued a full recall of all Petzl GriGri 2's.
They general jist of it is;
"PETZL has discovered that exerting excessive force on the fully extended handle of the GRIGRI 2can cause internal damage, such that the handle may become stuck in the open position. Petzl is not aware of any accidents resulting from this. Petzl has increased the mechanical strenght of the handle on all GRIGRI2's since serial number 11137."

For any of our customers who have purchased a GRIGRI 2's Lyon equipment U.K. (our distributor) will deal direct with end-users via: grigri2@lyon.co.uk

The original GRIGRI is not affected by this recall.
