Ok so you don't want to spend 400 euro on a tent for the festival. Let me guess you want to leave it behind cause you'll be tired after your weekend of partying? thats cool it really is like. So how does 20 euro sound? nice i bet. You're welcome.
For your twenty euro you really can't go wrong its waterproof and somewhere to lay your head. Easy to pitch even if your drunk really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOTE: THE TENT I AM ON ABOUT IS NOT THAT ONE PICTURED BUT ITS NEARLY THE SAME. BUT TO BE FAIR IT DOES LOOK LIKE WHERE WE WERE CAMPING IN FARREN WOODS

New Lowe Alpine Trekwear
This is really nice kit.
In the mens we have some lovely new driflo base layers - As well as the ever excellent short sleeve base layers (see right),we also have tights and briefs (see below) in a boxer short style, with or without fly opening.
The new driflo performs even better than before as Lowe are now using different yarns and weaves so that those areas that sweat most are kept coolest - Along with this, all of the base layers are treated with polygiene which stops the garment from smelling and the tops also have UV50 sun protection. They look pretty good too.
Also in are two really nice new shirts, the bryce short sleeve and bryce long sleeve. These are made with a "desert weave" fabric whch is a tightly woven polyamide with a wicking treatment and UV40 sun protection - The shirts feel lovely on the skin and they are very durable for such a lightweight garment - Perfect for travel, trekking and hiking - In fact, they are a great "do it all" item (you could even eat your lunch in one).
And for the ladies, we start with the "Breathe" hoody and the micro-grid Jacket - Both are micro-grid lightweight fleece, ideal for casual wear as well as performing out in the hills - And they look gert lush in these lovely colours below.
Other new arrivals in the ladies range are the "Colorado" Capri pant, the "Colorado" short and the "Guam" shirt, all seen below. As with all of the new Lowe trekwear, these are lightweight, fast drying and durable as they are made from Lowe's "desertweave" fabric with UPF 50.

Beach shoes, booties and body boards now in!
It's that time of year when you ought to be heading down to our lovely local beaches and building some almighty sand castles.
Left is one that myself and Kieran knocked together last week down at Ballycroneen strand. It's Batman in the batcave in case you were wondering.
Anyway, we now have both childrens and adults beach shoes in stock for only €4 and €6 respectively. These are great for protecting your feet and giving you grip when rockpooling, swimming and just generally playing around in and around the water - Picture of the shoes below:
Kids start at Size 8, limited stock in adults right now
although we are expecting all sizes within the next week or so - No promises but they should be here by then.
We also now have body boards in 33" and 37" (so ideal sizes for both children and adults) at only €10 and €25 respectively.
The only pictures I could find would not do ours justice so you will just have to come in and check them out in all their glory.
And last, but by no means least, we have full range of sizes (at the time of writing) in booties for only €20 a pair.
mmmmm...booties.
And for now, that's all my amphibious friends.
Hope to see you all soon.

The story of evolution - As it really happened.
In the beginning, there were dogs.
Someone tried to take away the slide!
Yes, that's right - Dogs were the first intelligent form of life on planet earth. Direct descendents of the dolphin, but with fur.
They lived alone on the planet for about 300 years, with only burgers for food which they brought with them in cooler bags.
The king of the dogs looked a bit like yoda from star wars and loved playgrounds.
"I love playgrounds"
One day he came across a playground that had been built by some of the other dogs and played on the slide and climbing frame for so long that he evolved into a monkey. And that is why we have Monkeys on earth.
Someone tried to take away the slide!
Anyway, now we had dogs and monkeys who got along just fine for the next 5 years or so until two of them got all lovey dovey sexy and shabbarine gave birth to a baby donkey - I know it sounds far fetched but trust me on this, i've done my research.
"Hey baby"
(the donkey had the same skills as his father with the ladies)
Then the donkeys learned to make sandwiches and everyone ate loads of them and eventually they all turned into humans because bread has that effect on all animals.
Anyway, there you have it, the definitive story of evolution.
It's all true.
